Cardiopril
Cardiopril may help the following:
- Lower blood cholesterol by reducing cholesterol biosynthesis
- Lower LDL (‘bad’ cholesterol)
- Raise HDL (‘good’ cholesterol)
- Lower blood triglycerides
- Lower blood homocysteine
- Reduce plasma fibrinogen (a measure of clotting in
the blood)
- Anti-inflammatory effect. Lowers C-reactive protein
- Anti-inflammatory effect. Lowers C-reactive protein
Note: C-reactive protein is an indicator of bacterial
inflammation of the artery wall. Over 50% of heart attacks
occur in people with normal cholesterol levels. The latest
research suggests that bacterial infection may trigger
inflammation and cause instability of atherosclerotic plaque.
Blood clots are then more likely to form and cause a heart
attack or stroke.
About High cholesterol
It is estimated that approximately 98.1 million adult
Americans (51.9%) have a total cholesterol value of 200
mg/dl or higher, and about 39.4 million American adults
(about 20%) have levels of 240 or above. Total cholesterol
levels of 240 mg/dl or more are considered high, and levels
from 200 to 239 mg/dl are considered borderline-high.
High cholesterol is a major risk factor for coronary heart
disease (CHD), the leading killer of Americans. One out
of every two men and one out of three women aged 40 and
older will develop CHD at some time in their lives.
Almost 13 million Americans already have CHD or "silent" atherosclerosis,
a complication of narrowing of the blood vessels, which
lead to coronary heart disease (CHD).
Cause of High Cholesterol
The build-up of cholesterol in the blood vessels begins
early and increases over time. Cholesterol is found in
food of animal origin, not food of plant origin. Cholesterol
deposits along the walls of the blood vessels causing the
blood vessels to become less elastic over time. In other
words, hardening of the arteries occurs from extra cholesterol
processed properly by the liver and kidneys.
Symptoms of High Cholesterol
There are no specific or obvious symptoms of high cholesterol.
Most often, a blood test for total cholesterol indicates
the diagnosis. A blood test of cholesterol includes LDL
(low-density lipoprotein, bad cholesterol), HDL (high-density
lipoprotein, good cholesterol) and triglycerides (blood
fat).
A total cholesterol level less than 200 milligrams per
deciliter (mg/dl) is considered "desirable".
When the level is above 200 mg/dl, the risk of CHD (coronary
heart disease) is increased.
Treatment for High Cholesterol
Reduce total cholesterol level, especially LDL (bad
cholesterol) from blood stream.
Restrict the liver's functions of producing more cholesterol,
have liver absorb more LDL (bad cholesterol) from the bloodstream
and excrete it.
Product Description
Cardiopril is a unique combination of botanical extractions
from chamomile and daisy plants. The botanical extractions
are bio-enhanced with MediBotanica’s patent-pending
technology. Cardiopril is available in 200 mg capsules
(Vegetarian capsules).
Product Applications
Cardiopril can be used for comprehensive correction
of the heart disease risk factors: blood cholesterol, triglycerides,
homocysteine, and C-reactive protein. Angina heart pains
are also corrected.
Cardiopril is particularly suited to persons who require
a natural alternative to prescribed drugs, which can cause
side effects. Cholesterol-lowering drugs (such as the ‘statins’)
can cause muscle myalgia pains, blurred vision, headache,
chest pain and heartburn.
Suggested Use
Take 2-3 capsules, twice a day. Do not exceed 8 capsules
per day.
Side-Effects
No side effects have been reported by users of Cardiopril.
