MOVE OVER TODDY! Filtron is the original cold press, cold brewer! A few dollars more upfront for quality, however....Filtron stays fresh weeks longer than Toddy, remains fresh at room temperature because end product doesn't stale or grow bacteria because it's a finer filtering process. Filtron filters are good for at least 50 uses, almost a year for most of us. Filtron Container is polycarbonite and optional Tip-N-Pour container is available (see below), minimizing refrigerator space.

Filtron recommends you change your pads every 3-4 months or every 25 brews. You can see with photo below, you would change your pad when it becomes dark brown with frayed edges. A tip is to rinse and store your pad in the freezer between uses - keeps the pad fresh each time you use it!
